Make time for friends

Today I met up with a polytechnic peer, for the first time, 15 years after we have graduated from the school. It was amazing we chatted over lunch as if we have never lost touch. It was such a nice update session. And I was reminded of how the whole group of us skived our internship job to watch the movie , and only sneaked back into our office at 4pm.

It’s good to make time to keep in touch with our friends, instead of working so hard for companies’ where we are so dispensable. This friend of mine worked hard in a MNC for the last six years, and his entire team was retrenched in a poorly managed fashion. Really, work is not worth our life and soul.

On a lighter note, let me share a picture of the restaurant we had lunch at. Nice back drop?
